In last Monday's post, I made this statement:
In order to keep up with my other photographic projects, I’m going to be slightly decreasing the posts – but just to every other day: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (barring crazy schedule changes).
"... barring crazy schedule changes"...
Well, it seems that was rather prophetic. My host (GoDaddy) has been giving me the royal run around lately. You may have noticed that my website has been slower over the past few weeks. As far as I can tell, after lots of time spent researching, applying every known efficiency upgrade/plugin/script/prayer, and numerous (pointless) dialogs with GoDaddy - the slowdown ultimately comes lies in GoDaddy's server system.
So, with that in mind, I've done some research and I'm switching hosting companies to HostGator. I've heard plenty of great things about their offerings, reliability, and - most importantly - their customer service/support. I'm also using this hosting change to change the look of the website, and add e-commerce functionality. That's right, in just a few days we'll have full capabilities to handle print purchasing on the site. Good stuff.
For now, say "bye, bye" to the old site - it will be gone in a matter of hours. But I'll be back asap - with a fresh, new look. And more new images. Got some new ones that I'm really proud of, and can't wait to show you all.
Cheers & thank you for your patience,
