Some furniture fills a room. The Boreal Collection defines it.
The Boreal Media Console
Low, wide, and quietly confident. Naguri-patterned sliding doors conceal a center cabinet designed for media components, while open shelving on either side invites display — books, objects, the things worth looking at. Brass inlay runs the front edge of each exposed shelf, a detail that catches the light without demanding it. The same tapered legs and routed finger grooves that define the wardrobe carry through here, grounding the two pieces as unmistakably part of the same family. The Boreal Collection takes its name from the northern forests of Wisconsin. Wild, textured, and unhurried. Where the Canterbury Collection speaks in clean lines and quiet restraint, Boreal speaks in texture, depth, and the kind of beauty that rewards a closer look.
The collection currently includes two pieces, each sharing the same design language: locally sourced solid walnut, hand-routed naguri panels, brass accents, and routed finger grooves in place of hardware. Understated. Considered. Built to last. The Boreal Wardrobe
A tall, commanding presence. Its door panels are hand-routed in a naguri pattern, an ancient Japanese technique that carves flowing, organic texture into the surface of the wood, evoking the grain of a forest — bark, water, wind. No two panels are identical. No two ever could be. A brass inlay marks the division between the upper cabinet and the lower double-drawer section — concealing a two-piece construction designed for easier delivery and movement without sacrificing visual integrity. Designed as a wardrobe, and fully customizable to meet the needs of its owner.
